At Naked Nutrition we want you to eat lots of fruits and veggies (mostly organic), but its important to be aware of the perfect portion size. Here are some tips:

- Meat: size of your iPod (not the shuffle, the original iPod size)

- Baked goods: size of your makeup compact

- Pasta: size of a tennis ball

- Bagel: hockey puck

Have you thinking now? Watch out for restaurant size portions which are often four times a healthy serving size. Share meals when out, or better yet cook at home so you know exactly whats in your food and YOU control the portion size.

Today take a few minutes to focus on some of your happiest memories.  Here are a few suggestions from Naked Nutrition:

- Start a fresh journal and write down some of your past happy moments (some thoughts: wedding, weight goal achievement, engagement, career development)

- When an event, experience, or even a new song makes you happy journal about it

- When engaging in a ‘happy moment’ make sure to step back and enjoy the ride. Be present.

If you are feeling down or need a little pick-me-up look back at your journal and all of your beautiful life journeys.  You will have instant warm emotions. Embrace.
